Frequently asked questions
Do you also replace broken teeth?
Yes. If teeth are broken or heavily worn, we recondition your blades – by re-tipping or re-toothing. If it is no longer worthwhile, we will be happy to advise you on a suitable new blade.
How many times can I have my blade resharpened?
As a rule, we grind both the tooth face and the tooth top (periphery). This way we remove only as much material as necessary – which protects your blade.
How long will I be without my blade?
Usually about one week from receipt. Rush orders can sometimes be completed on the same day – just call us beforehand.
How do the blades get to you?
You are welcome to bring your blades in yourself: Mon–Fri 07:00–15:45 or by arrangement. We work for customers throughout Germany and beyond. We are happy to collect your blades, have them picked up by a courier service, or you can simply send them to us – just get in touch.
Do you also sharpen for private customers?
Yes, private customers are very welcome too.
